It is unfortunate that we have to announce, once again the immediate and temporary closure of The Ferry Tavern.  A staff member has today received a positive test result for COVID-19.

NHS Track and Trace have contacted all ‘close contacts’ who were exposed to the staff member from two days before the test date. This, unfortunately, means that some, but not all members of staff have been requested to self-isolate for 10 days from yesterday’s test day.

We need to stress that no other members of staff have developed any symptoms or tested positive. We are now going to spend the next day or two trying to rearrange our staffing rotas and maybe reducing serving hours so that our remaining staff can offer some service soon. However, for the time being we are CLOSED.

At this moment in time NHS Track and Trace have not requested any customer contact details from that day. The pub will now be deep cleaned and any information regarding reopening will be posted on our website and social media platforms.
